Multiple dogs can have you feeling outnumbered in no time but there are training and management strategies that will help you enjoy multiple dogs and help them to enjoy or at least tolerate each other. Adding a new dog is a big decision. Train with Trust will help you evaluate whether it is a good idea to add another friend to your household. If you already have more than one dog, our interactive seminar will teach you how to set the stage for success.
Intro to therapy dog training
Volunteering with your dog can be a very rewarding experience. There are many therapy dog programs and certification groups to choose from and it is important to find the right fit for you and your dog. Train with Trust’s Intro to Therapy Dog Training workshop will help get you thinking about what will make you and your dog a successful team. We will help you assess what skills your dog needs practice with, and will provide you with start-up information to get going on your path as a therapy team
The American Kennel Club’s (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program is designed to help you and your dog achieve a standard that means your dog is well mannered at home and in public, around people and other dogs. Passing the CGC test requires mastery of 10 basic elements. Some of these are more challenging for some dog/handler teams than others. Train with Trust will help identify your dog’s strengths and weaknesses and how to achieve success.
